1. Install & enable the theme embed
After installing from the Shopify App Store, open your theme editor and enable the app embed so JSON-LD can render on the storefront.
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Open the App embeds panel (puzzle / apps icon).
- Find JSON-LD SEO Schema (or Corevance) and turn it on.
- Save the theme.
2. Turn schemas on from the Dashboard
The Dashboard lists available schema types. Toggle the ones you want for product pages, store identity, FAQs, and more.
- Product schema — price, availability, variants, and related offers.
- Organization / Local Business — brand and store identity for knowledge panels.
- FAQ, Blog, Video, Website, Breadcrumb — enable per your plan.
Deep guides for each type live on the Features pages.
3. Configure Settings
Use Settings to fill in merchant-specific details that Google expects:
- Organization — name, logo, description, tax IDs, social profiles.
- Local Business — address, geo, hours, contact (when applicable).
- Shipping & returns — rates, delivery estimates, return windows; Advanced can sync Shopify shipping profiles.
- FAQs — reusable Q&A pairs; Advanced includes AI generation.
- Product options — offer type, product groups, review app selection.
- Multi-language (Advanced) — schema per shopper language.
4. Validate with Google
After enabling schemas, test a live product or page URL:
- Copy a product URL from your storefront (not the admin preview URL).
- Open Google Rich Results Test.
- Paste the URL and run the test.
- Confirm Product / FAQ / other detected types and fix any reported issues.
Advanced plan merchants can also use the in-app Test Schema tools to audit markup.
5. Plans & upgrades
Start on Free for identity schemas, upgrade to Basic for product-focused rich results, or Advanced for AI FAQs, multi-language, and deeper controls. Billing is handled through Shopify.
