If you sell the same item in colors and sizes, Google should understand those are options of one product — not totally separate items. You also choose whether Google sees one price, several prices, or a “from $X” range.

Some settings sound technical. Here’s what they mean for a normal Shopify store.
1 Group variants together
What it means: Tells Google that color and size options belong to one product.
Fashion, apparel, or any product with meaningful options.
Simple single-version products.
2 Automatic price display
What it means: Lets the app choose a sensible price style for you.
You’re not sure whether to show one price, many prices, or a range.
Switch to a manual mode if Auto doesn’t match how you sell.
3 Price range for many options
What it means: Shows a from–to price when there are lots of variants.
Products with many sizes/colors.
Only 2–3 options with clear different prices — listing each price can be clearer.
4 Material, pattern, and other options
What it means: Maps your Shopify options into clear attributes for Google.
Options go beyond basic Size/Color.
Products with only one option value.
